About This Site

Why the Kabinet exists

Kranioclast.com is an archive of the work done here between 1999 and 2009. Back then it was grueling work, a real learning experience, with many days and nights spent crafting every scene toward some idea of perfection.

Then Flash was killed off, and for almost two decades the site was simply gone. No plugin left to play any of it back.

I brought the site back, trying to keep every original file, and revived it in the browser through Ruffle (an open-source Flash emulator) rather than rebuilt from scratch.

There are no plans for new work on Kranioclast.com itself; this is an archive. I am, however, making modern 4K versions of some of the old animations. Check on Mangor for whatever I’m working on next.
